Michael Lumbley
Vice President of Sales
Michael Lumbley is Vice President of Sales at EticaAG, where he leads global sales strategy and market expansion for the company’s next-generation, immersion-cooled battery energy storage systems. He is a career energy development professional with more than 20 years of experience spanning solar, energy storage, and electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure.
Michael began his energy career in the oil and gas sector before transitioning exclusively to clean energy projects in the early 2000s. He went on to work for two of the top utility-scale solar development firms in the United States, building deep expertise in renewable energy project development, PPA consulting, financial modeling, permitting, and large-scale project execution. This foundation provided him with a comprehensive understanding of how advanced energy systems are developed, financed, and deployed at scale.
He later shifted his focus to EV charging infrastructure and is the Co-Founder of Rove Charging, where he helped advance solutions that prioritize not only performance and reliability, but also the end-user experience for EV drivers. His work in EV infrastructure emphasized advanced energy management, system resiliency, and operational excellence, bridging the gap between power generation, storage, and transportation electrification.
Throughout his career, Michael has managed complex project development efforts, implementations, and installations, leading multidisciplinary teams both domestically and internationally. His experience spans utility-scale solar projects, energy storage systems, performance contracting, energy consulting, and global business development, with a strong focus on process improvement and scalable execution.
At EticaAG, Michael applies this broad technical and commercial background to help customers adopt safer, high-performance energy storage solutions. He works closely with engineering, product, and executive leadership to align customer requirements with EticaAG’s immersion-cooled architecture, enabling energy storage deployments in applications where safety, reliability, and long-term economics are critical.
