AGBESS appoints Robert Hibschweiler as Director of Government Solutions to lead deployment of EticaAG’s non-flammable battery storage in the public sector.

Supporting Public Sector Agencies with Safer BESS Technology

AGBESS, the exclusive government sales partner of EticaAG, today announced the appointment of Robert Hibschweiler as Director of Government Solutions. Hibschweiler will lead AGBESS’s engagement with federal, state, and municipal agencies, helping government customers deploy non-flammable, mission-ready battery energy storage systems.

AGBESS is a division of AssetGenie Inc., a joint venture partner in EticaAG. As EticaAG’s designated channel for all government-sector activity, AGBESS is responsible for bringing EticaAG’s proprietary immersion-cooled battery systems to public infrastructure and defense markets across the United States.

Hibschweiler brings over three decades of experience in government contracting, energy infrastructure, business development leadership and international sales. His background includes key roles in large network security deployments, federal real property portfolio management and energy saving performance contracting; and a prominent role with Kohler Power Systems, where he grew the federal sales program for the company’s extensive range of power generation solutions & controls within the federal arena. He has deep expertise in federal procurement processes, sustainability-focused technology deployment, and infrastructure modernization.

“Robert understands how to deliver solutions that meet the unique safety and reliability requirements of government agencies,” said Jaime Hidalgo, President of AssetGenie and CEO of EticaAG. “He’s a seasoned leader with deep experience navigating public-sector energy priorities and we’re excited for him to bring that expertise to AGBESS.”

With Hibschweiler’s appointment, AGBESS strengthens its capacity to serve government agencies seeking safer, more resilient energy storage alternatives to traditional lithium systems.

About EticaAG

EticaAG manufactures non-flammable lithium battery energy storage systems for a safer, more resilient energy future. At the core of every system is our patented LiquidShield Immersion Technology, which submerges each battery cell in a non-toxic, fire-retardant liquid. This eliminates fire propagation risk—even under thermal runaway conditions—and delivers superior thermal management for longer battery life and enhanced reliability.

About AGBESS

AGBESS is the exclusive government sales division of EticaAG and a subsidiary of AssetGenie Inc. Focused on serving federal, state, and municipal agencies, AGBESS delivers fire-safe battery energy storage systems for mission-critical applications. With a dedicated focus on public-sector energy resilience, AGBESS bridges EticaAG’s advanced technology with the evolving needs of government infrastructure.

Immersion Cooling Slows Degradation, Extends Battery Life, and Protects BESS ROI

Thermal management determines how long a BESS lasts, how safely it operates, and whether it meets financial expectations. Uneven heat drives degradation, early augmentation, and performance shortfalls. Immersion cooling eliminates thermal gradients, extends battery life, prevents ignition, and protects ROI by maintaining consistent performance across the system lifecycle.
